Christmas market school trip to Paris, France

There’s no better time to experience Paris than during the festive season, when the City of Light truly lives up to its name. Book a school trip from mid-November to December and we’ll build a memorable, curriculum-linked itinerary around your Christmas market visits.

  • Voyager exclusive
  • Key stage 2 – 16+
  • Nov-Jan

The City of Light sparkles even brighter at Christmastime as Paris pulls out all the stops to woo visitors, with Christmas markets & seasonal events popping up all over the city.

Our top tip? Head to the beautiful Tuileries Garden, located centrally at the foot of the Louvre in the 1st arrondissement, for the best Christmas market experience in Paris. Expect a towering ferris wheel, mini ice rink, rides and plenty of festive French treats and winter warmers like crêpes and raclette! Plus, its proximity to other attractions like Musée de l'OrangerieMusée d'Orsay and Notre-Dame make it a great option to maximise your time in the capital and tick off as many sights as possible.

For festive lights, walk the decked-out, tree-lined Champs-Élysées to the magnificent Arc de Triomphe, and make sure not to miss the world-famous Christmas displays at Galleries Lafayette.

We can tailor your itinerary to your unique learning requirements. Please contact our Paris experts for a bespoke quote.

Add language immersion

To get your students practising and improving their French, include a Voyager animateur to accompany the group and lead all excursions and mealtimes in French. Our animateur-led trips are shown to super-boost students' language skills and confidence.

Location

Accommodation options for our Christmas market school trip to Paris

Voyager School Travel is the preferred partner of Campus Sainte Therese. We recommend this residential centre for the majority of our school groups travelling to Paris because of its convenient location in the beautiful town of Ozoir-la-Ferrière, just 13 miles from the centre of Paris and less than an hour drive from Notre-Dame Christmas market.

Campus Sainte Therese hosts school groups exclusively, which means it is a safe and secure environment where students can unwind without having to worry about other guests. What’s more, after a busy day seeing the sites of Paris, teachers can relax each evening while our animateurs lead French-language evening entertainment for your students. Unlike many of Paris' central hotels, the Campus has ample outside space to play games and blow off steam - a real benefit to staying at this popular accommodation.
