Looking for an unforgettable cultural experience for your students? Look no further than Voyager's tour of India's Golden Triangle. An expert local guide will meet you and your students upon your arrival at Delhi airport and accompany you throughout your trip, leading every visit and organising everything for you, meaning you can fully experience the wonders of India just like your students. From the historic Old Delhi and contrasting New Delhi to sacred Agra and colourful Jaipur, you'll see all the three cities have to offer.
We have created a tried and tested programme that allows students to experience and understand aspects of India's religious, spiritual and cultural heritage and leave with a greater understanding of how religion has shaped the country throughout its history. Explore world-famous sights like the Taj Mahal and Qutub Minar, respectfully visit temples and roll chapatis with the locals in the holy kitchens!
Fatehpur Sikri
Explore the Agra Fort, a masterpiece of design and construction. Within the fort are a number of exquisite buildings.
Visit the Sikh Gurudwara Bangla Sahib temple and try your hand at rolling chapatis in the holy kitchens. This visit in particular is a great cultural experience for your students.
Visit Fatehpur Sikri, also known as "The City of Victory”. The complex of monuments and temples was built during the 16th century by emperor Akbar and features fantastic examples of architectural styles of the era.
Opened shortly after his assassination, the museum showcases the life and principles of Mahatma Gandhi. Students will learn about his life and mission.
Explore Old Delhi, led by your local guide. Start by taking in Red Fort along the river Yamuna, built in 1648 by the Mughal emperor. Then visit the Raj Ghat memorial to Mahatma Gandhi.
The Palace of Winds, or Hawa Mahal in Hindi, is a magnificent sight to behold. The palace has a 953 window facade that is a brilliant example of Rajput architecture.
Begin your tour of New Delhi by visiting the Qutub Minar tower. Built in 1193 after the defeat of the last Hindu Kingdom, it was used to call Muslims to pray.
