But you may not know that Pegasus is actually owned by Voyager School Travel. We own our own coach fleet to ensure that every element of your trip is top-notch, including the transport, and that you can be confident of a safe and reliable coach journey.

Pegasus is a family-run company with a long-standing reputation for transporting school and student groups. In fact, in recognition of their expertise in student travel, Pegasus Coaches are regularly commissioned by our competitors to transport their school groups too.

Pegasus' modern fleet of executive coaches offers all the necessary amenities such as air conditioning, tea and coffee-making facilities, USB ports and toilets which means your group can travel in comfort. They also offer luggage trailers making them perfect for flight-free school trips to Europe.

Professional drivers selected for their experience with school groups

The quality of your driver can make or break a trip and so Pegasus drivers are selected for their professionalism, knowledge, and their ability to strike up a rapport with the group, working closely with the group leader to ensure a smooth and successful trip. Schools often have a favourite driver they request for their trips. As you would expect, the safety of our groups is our utmost priority and so all Pegasus drivers are enhanced DBS checked and operate in strict accordance with UK and European legislation including those laws concerning seat belts and drivers' hours. To fulfil our duty of care and create a safer environment for children and young people, all Pegasus coach drivers undertake the EduCare Safeguarding Young People course

Excellent safety record

It is essential that school transport is reliable and on time and so all Pegasus coaches are checked on a daily basis for performance and safety, and are subject to a thorough inspection every six weeks to ensure that they meet current legislation and the regulations set out by the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA). If there is a problem, you will have the back up of Pegasus' large fleet of vehicles, and their own mobile mechanics, so your group will not be let down.
