How Voyager School Travel support you
Taking forty students abroad can be daunting, not least because you have to satisfy the needs of so many different parties invested in the trip including your students and their parents. That’s why we strive to make planning and running your school trip as easy as possible and provide support throughout the entire process.
Before your trip
- Your educational travel expert will create a bespoke itinerary aligned to the learning objectives of your trip and will send you everything you need to get your trip authorised by SLT including a detailed itinerary, transparent price breakdown, payment schedule and all the relevant safety paperwork
- We can produce bespoke posters and presentations to help you promote the trip to students and will attend parent evenings to answer detailed questions about the trip
- So that you are fully prepared before you travel, we also organise subsidised inspection visits to see our school centres, inspect the facilities and meet the staff responsible for your group
During your trip
- Wherever possible you will be looked after by our own centre staff, coach drivers, ski reps, language and sports instructors who are DBS checked and trained in the requirements of British school groups
- Teachers staying at our adventure and language centres can relax in the knowledge that our staff are responsible for running all activities, excursions, mealtimes and evening entertainment
- Long haul trips will often include a trusted local guide to provide your group extra support and a real insight into the country being visited
- Groups not staying in our centres will be accommodated in student-friendly hotels and hostels which have undergone a School Travel Forum (STF) audit and safety check
- Finally, every group has the backup of our emergency hotline which is staffed 24 hours a day
After your trip
- We will schedule a detailed 121 feedback call to check that the trip has met your expectations and to ensure that we continuously improve the service we provide other school groups
- You will earn points through our loyalty program which your school can redeem discounts on future bookings as well as spot prizes and discounted holidays for teachers
- Groups returning from our language immersion centres are offered priority access for their preferred week the following year
