Business Student convention 2023 gives students the opportunity to apply their studies to the real world. Included in the convention package is a 2-day hopper pass for both Disneyland® parks so that students can collect the evidence required to complete the business assignments on their return home.
The convention is designed to inspire and educate the next generation of business leaders and provides real-life insights from business speakers that complement the curriculum. Expect topics including marketing, human resource management and finance to be covered at the convention with speakers representing entrepreneurs and well-known brands.

After the convention, students will head to the parks to experience Disney’s unique brand of customer experience and will be tasked with viewing the park through an analytical lens by completing a choice of business assignments relating directly to the business of Disneyland Paris.
Following research with teachers and tutors, we have updated the convention to pack in even more learning throughout the trip:
- You said you wanted more INTERACTIVE SESSIONS and so the format includes live quizzes and Q&A sessions to keep your students involved and engaged throughout
- You said you wanted to EXTEND LEARNING THROUGHOUT THE TRIP which is why we now provide a choice of Disneyland Paris-themed exercises (on market segmentation, the marketing mix and PESTLE) for students to work on during their stay
- You said that you wanted additional reassurance and and so we are extending our BOOKING PROMISE and COVID trip insurance to all convention bookings.

In-resort assignments themed on the business of Disneyland Paris
These new in-resort learning assignments ensure that students are learning throughout their trip - not just while at the Business Lab Convention - to give the trip more educational value and make it more justifiable to students, parents and SLT.
Designed by a sixth-form Business Studies tutor, each assignment uses Disneyland Paris as a case study to support students’ understanding of four popular topics and can be worked on while students are experiencing the park and hotel facilities.
