Live from the Gaumont Theatre in Disney Village, our annual Business Studies Student Convention gives learners the chance to hear first-hand from industry leaders, explore real case studies they can reference in their studies, and gain insider tips to help launch their future careers.

The convention aligns with the curriculum while offering fresh, real-world perspectives. Expect engaging talks on marketing, human resource management, finance and more—delivered by entrepreneurs and senior figures from household brands.

After the convention, students will head to the parks to experience Disney’s unique brand of customer experience and will be tasked with viewing the park through an analytical lens by completing a choice of business assignments relating directly to the business of Disneyland Paris.

Included in the convention package is a 2-day hopper pass for both Disney® Parks so that students can collect the evidence required to complete their business assignments.

Itinerary

This is the 4-day sample itinerary. If you are short on time, a 3-day/2-night option is also available.

Day 1

  • Board your coach for your trip to Paris
  • Arrive at your Disney® Hotel where you will be greeted by our team members
  • Check in and collect your in-resort business assignments for students to complete during their stay
  • Evening meal in Disney Village

Day 2

  • Enjoy a full day exploring Disneyland® Park & Walt Disney® Studios Park
  • While visiting the parks, students will collect evidence to complete their assignments on the Business of Disneyland Paris
  • Catch a show or enjoy the stunning evening illuminations across the parks

Day 3

  • Attend the Business Studies Student Convention in the morning to learn from Disney executives and other business leaders covering topics such as Finance and Marketing
  • Return to Disneyland® Park & Walt Disney® Studios Park for the remainder of the day - when students can complete their student assignments and experience anything they missed yesterday 
  • Optional -  excursion into Paris with an awe-inspiring Bateaux Mouches Seine river cruise of the city

Day 4

  • Checkout after breakfast and board your coach home
  • A chance for some last-minute shopping at Val d’Europe Shopping Centre en route to your ferry crossing
  • Arrive home

Free Business Studies Assignments

In-resort assignments themed on the business of Disneyland Paris 

These new in-resort learning assignments ensure that students are learning throughout their trip - not just while at the Business Lab Convention - to give the trip more educational value and make it more justifiable to students, parents and SLT.  

Designed by a sixth-form Business Studies tutor, each assignment uses Disneyland Paris as a case study to support students’ understanding of four popular topics and can be worked on while students are experiencing the park and hotel facilities.
