Barcelona is a hot spot for budding historians, aspiring artists and of course a great opportunity to practise your Spanish! Home to the works of Gaudí and Dalí to name a few, there are intriguing sights abound on this educational Spanish trip. From the cultural UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Park Güell and the Sagrada Familia to the good old fun of Port Aventura and Aquopolis waterpark, we have a great selection of vibrant and varied visits to help inspire you for your itinerary.
Barcelona is a popular extension to our music tour of the Costa Brava where school choirs, bands and orchestras can perform in outdoor venues along the coast.

The lively town of Figueres is the birthplace of artist Salvador Dalí. The museum itself was designed by Dalí and as such is as mind-boggling as the artwork inside it! We recommend this as a great day trip for our groups.

Aquopolis is a waterpark with over 15 attractions including waterslides, rapids, a zip line and a river. Students can have fun racing each other in teams of four on the toboggan slides.
Walk along the most iconic street in the city, lined with trees and stretching almost a mile. It is particularly popular wth tourists and has become more commercialised with kiosks, souvenir shops, street traders, cafes and street entertainers.
Take your students to marvel at Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí’s unfinished masterpiece over 130 years in the making. The interior colourful stained glass windows are stunning and a must-see.
Park Güell is an example of architect Antoni Gaudí's fantastic mind. Explore the colourful features around the park, enjoy the stunning views of the city and learn about Gaudí's life and his impact on Catalonia at the House and Museum within the park grounds.

Barcelona's Gothic Quarter contains Roman ruins, gothic architecture and plenty of shopping and local delicacies. Make sure you visit the cathedral and the winding and narrow streets around it.

Experience the first adventure park in the city. Ziplines, climbing forest networks, bungee jumping and bridges are just some of the attractions awaiting your group!
Once you're done exploring the city on foot, why not see it from above? Ride the cable car over Barcelona and catch some amazing views of the Catalan capital.
This is a unique open-air architectural museum located on the mountain of Montjuïc. It was built in 1929 for the Barcelona International Exhibition with the intention of preserving the architectural styles of Spain in one place so it's a great place to visit to get an idea of the history of the area.
