This exciting science-focused school trip to Brussels is a smart alternative to staying at the Euro Space Centre, offering the same stand-out activities alongside a wider cultural experience.

Your group will spend a full day at the Euro Space Centre, taking part in astronaut training, Moonwalk and Mars simulations, and immersive space-themed activities. In Brussels, we’ll tailor the itinerary to your teaching objectives - physics, biology, natural history or engineering - with options such as the Brussels Science Museum, Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences, Planetarium, ULB Physics Experimentarium, or Train World.

No visit would be complete without the Atomium, Brussels’ striking icon of science and innovation. Along the way, your students can experience a different culture and practise their French on a fun and safe European city break.


Itinerary

Suggested 4-Day Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrive in Brussels

  • Board coach at school for your trip to Brussels via Dover and Calais
  • Visit Nausicaá National Sea Centre in France - Europe’s largest marine life centre.
  • Continue to Brussels and check into your accommodation.

Day 2 - Science & Sightseeing

  • Visit the Brussels Science Museum or ULB Physics Experimentarium.
  • Later in the afternoon, explore the Atomium, then enjoy sightseeing and souvenir shopping in Brussels city centre.

Day 3 - Euro Space Centre

  • Full day of astronaut training activities including the Space Hub, Moonwalk simulator, Mars Village, and Planetarium.

Day 4 - Return to UK

  • Board coach for your trip home stopping off at a Belgian chocolate factory before returning to school.
