We've built a really unique and engaging programme for students serious about a future career in science in exclusive partnership with Amsterdam University College. This school trip will inspire your students by giving them a greater understanding of the job prospects in the science field and give them direction for their future. Your group will have the invaluable opportunity to hear directly from English-speaking students at the university with a guided tour of the campus, a Q&A session where all their higher education questions will be answered and even get the chance to sit in on a class if time allows. You'll also tour Amsterdam Science Park, where some of the world's most exciting scientific developments are happening!
On top of our exclusive partnership with AUC, you'll also get to explore the five floors of the interactive NEMO Science Museum and take a journey through the human body at the Body Worlds exhibition to understand human anatomy and processes. We can also pack your itinerary with a selection of cultural attractions both fun and educational like a canal cruise, a visit to the Rijksmuseum and the Anne Frank House.
Amsterdam's network of canals is without a doubt its most famous feature, so hop aboard a boat and see the city from the water. You will learn about Amsterdam's history, including how it was built and the story behind some important buildings.
The NEMO Science Museum is a fantastic educational centre for science students. Your group will learn how energy and technology have shaped our world through five floors of interactive exhibits with a collection of nearly 20,000 artefacts!
As well as chronicling Anne Frank’s life and diary entries, the museum takes a wider look at the human impact of WWII and the Holocaust.
Embark on a journey through the human body in this fascinating (and slightly creepy) exhibition! Students will learn about human anatomy and the body's processes.
Your students will learn how to make the world-famous Dutch stroopwafels in this fun workshop. Learn how classic stroopwafel is made before having a go at crafting and decorating two delicious stroopwafels for yourself.
Zaanse Schans is effectively an open-air museum recreating the look of an 18th/19th-century Dutch village. Explore the picturesque network of historic windmills and houses amongst the lake and grassy fields. There is also a museum featuring workshops of handicrafts of Dutch exports like chocolate and clogs.
