We preparing to welcome school groups back to our French residential centres

After many months of déconfinement, a sort of normal life is returning to France. French schools are now fully open as are shops, cafés, cinemas. sports halls and holiday parks across the country. At the same time, our teams in France have been busy preparing the Château, La Grand' Ferme and Moulin aux Draps in readiness to welcome school groups once again.

Our ethos has always been to give children the opportunity to challenge themselves and practise French in safe environment, and this hasn’t changed. That’s why we are putting measures in place to make our centres Covid-secure while maintaining a setting where children can still thrive, learn and have fun.

Groups returning to our centres will see some changes in line with the prevailing social distancing requirements in the UK and France. For example, we will be making more use of our outdoor spaces and activities will be adapted and run in smaller groups than before. We will also need to cap the number of groups staying and so expect less availability, at least in the short term.

You can read more about the measures we are putting in place at our flagship centre, Château la Baudonnière, on the Château website.

We are in contact with all the groups with upcoming trips to our French centres, but if you do have questions about our reopening, or would like to check availability for next year, please don't hesitate to get in touch. We are fully open with our teams working from home.
