International day of happiness: How we make teachers happy!

International happiness day

Did you know that March 20th is the International Day of Happiness?

We like to spread some happiness wherever we can; to our party leaders, with our Teacher Loyalty Rewards Programme, and to our school groups, with our immersive educational school trips! Here are some of the ways we make our teachers #HAPPY

Voyager Rewards Voyager Rewards

Our rewards programme exists to show our appreciation for the loyalty of our teachers and their schools. When you book a school trip with Voyager School Travel, you earn points calculated by passengers x nights. Once you stack up your points, you can reap the rewards! On top of accumulating points, we also reward teachers for no other reason than being great at what they do! Our first spot prize winner, Karen Rogers, won a spa day for two at luxury hotel Ellenborough Park. Look out for a new blog on Karen's "great first spa experience!"

Stress relief! Stress relief!

We know running a school trip on top of the hustle and bustle of the school week can mean added stress for teachers, and we like to do as much as we can in order to relieve the stress they may feel when organising a school trip. One of the ways teachers recognise this is when they travel to one of our Voyager School Travel owned accommodations.

Travelling to the Voyager-owned Hotel du Moulin aux Draps, Château de la Baudonnière or La Grand' Ferme means that all on-site audits and safety docs are already in place and one click away, saving you from sifting through and gathering excess paperwork. We also have a 24/7 emergency phone, meaning somebody is always on hand to support you on your trip, wherever in the world you may be.

Inspection visits Teacher inspection visits

During February half term, we took six science teachers from across the country to Amsterdam. Celebrating our partnership with Amsterdam University College (AUC), teachers were very excited about our new Amsterdam science school trip.
