Meeting Our Teachers & Their Students In Aberdeen!

7 Sept 2018, 11:12 by Tricia Bryant

Last week, one of our directors, Tricia Bryant, headed up to Aberdeen to catch up with 23 of our wonderful teachers. A very convivial evening in a gastropub was enjoyed by teachers who have been travelling on school tours with Voyager School Travel for many years, as well as newer party leaders!

During the visit to the beautiful (and sunshine-bathed!!) Granite City, there was also an opportunity for Tricia to spend some time with pupils at Aberdeen Grammar School. It was a brilliant way of listening to direct feedback from students about the Voyager school tours they travelled on in 2018 and what they enjoyed about a school trip. What a great opportunity to speak to these bright, engaging kids. We hope the memories of their Voyager school trip stay with them for many years to come. Here's what they had to say:

"The best thing is being abroad and independent with friends"

Callum, Argeles-sur-Mer adventure trip: "I liked being somewhere you don’t know with your friends. And Benoit’s pizzas were the best!"

Troy, Argeles-sur-Mer adventure trip: "The Voyager team were so encouraging, especially at canyoning. Kayaking was great too."

Rachel, Tossa de Mar adventure trip: "Even the slightest risk, we knew we were safe with the Voyager instructors. I loved the scavenger hunt as an evening entertainment and the best thing about a school trip is being abroad and independent with friends."
