What happens when students step beyond the classroom and experience business theory in one of Europe's most successful commercial organisations?

That's exactly what the 2027 Business Studies Student Convention at Disneyland® Paris offers.

Taking place 26–29 January 2027, next year's convention introduces new curriculum leadership and an exciting project-based learning resource, helping students apply business concepts in a real-world setting before, during and after their visit.

Strengthening Curriculum Connections

This year we're pleased to welcome James Pooley as our dedicated Business Studies Curriculum Advisor.

Having brought his own students to the convention for the past four years, James understands exactly how Voyager's Student Conventions reinforce classroom learning and inspire students to see business beyond the textbook.

Working alongside our speakers, James has helped ensure presentations complement the topics students are studying, while also facilitating the conference to draw out the key business concepts explored throughout the programme.

From marketing and branding to customer experience, operations and organisational strategy, students will be encouraged to analyse Disneyland® Paris as a global business operating within a highly competitive marketplace.

Brand-New Project-Based Learning

A major addition for 2027 is our new project-based learning resource, designed to maximise educational impact across the entire learning journey.

Students will begin with research activities before travelling, preparing them to investigate Disneyland® Paris as a business case study.

During the convention, they'll complete structured tasks focusing on areas including marketing, customer experience, branding and commercial decision-making, before returning to school to present their findings and evaluate what they've learned.

This approach encourages students to apply business theory in a real commercial environment while developing valuable research, presentation and evaluation skills that support classroom learning.
