Louise the Champion!

Louise Richardson, our Sales Manager, has recently won a powerlifting competition which was organised by the Great British Powerlifting Federation. After months of hard training, while maintaining a full time job, Louise is now the Women's British Powerlifting Champion in the under 72kg category.

She has also been invited to be a part of Team GB and represent Britain overseas. She also holds the British record for dead lift, which is 168kg. The competition was held at Horncastle in Lincolnshire where Louise beat the other 8 women in her catagory! She even beat last years' champion to win the competition.

Louise said:

'It was great fun participating and I was so glad all the hard work paid off. The competition was really strong so I was extra pleased that I managed to win it. I'm really excited to continue doing what I love and I can't wait to see what's in store for me in the future.'

Louise is having a break from competing until Christmas and will decide what other events she will be doing in the new year.
