Back in the classroom: Connecting with MFL Teachers at Beaumont School

There’s nothing we enjoy more than meeting teachers at the chalkface and staying up to date with the latest in language learning. So when one of our favourite schools invited us to join them for a recent CPD session, we didn’t hesitate!

Liza, one of our tours experts and a former MFL teacher herself, joined Sue at Beaumont School for an after-school MFL TeachMeet. The event brought together language teachers from local schools and was led by languages and technology consultant Joe Dale, who focused on how AI can support language learning in the classroom.

Liza was available throughout to chat with teachers about educational trips abroad, with lots of great discussion around the value of immersive language experiences. She also had some insightful conversations about current concerns in the MFL world, including A-level uptake and adapting to the new MFL GCSE specification.

It was a fantastic afternoon of collaboration, innovation, and shared passion for language teaching.  Thanks for having us, Sue!
