Your ticket to space
Train up a team of future astronauts on your school Science trip to Belgium's Euro Space Center.
This extremely immersive environment combines exciting installations with practical activities. Budding science students will get a crash course in learning what it's like to work in the space center and the conditions astronauts work under. This is achieved through fun and engaging exhibits and simulators which mimic different processes involved in space travel. Experience the low gravity sensation of walking on the surface of the moon and spin in a space capsule as it re-enters earth's atmosphere (dizziness and laughs guaranteed.)
4 days of immersive learning
The 4-day school trip programme gives students an extensive knowledge of Space and Science. Just like real astronauts, students will try to perform tasks in these extraordinary settings. In a mock-up mission control station, your group will simulate the launch of a satellite or even a lunar landing. There's also a chance to get creative and crafty when you build your own rocket in the rocket workshop. This is a great hands-on activity where students will learn the laws of physics and propulsion which launches space shuttles. See this come to life on a smaller scale when you get to launch your rocket!
Students will leave with a greater knowledge of all things Space and Science having experienced interactive learning through a variety of mediums - from simulators and experiments to presentations and lectures. What more could you want from a science school trip?
