Louise Richardson
General Manager
With extensive experience in school travel operations, Louise Richardson ensures every Voyager tour is planned to the highest standards, overseeing everything from itinerary planning and French residential centres to health and safety, helping schools travel with complete confidence.
About Louise
As General Manager, Louise oversees the day-to-day operation of Voyager's four French residential centres, working closely with the sales, marketing and operations teams to ensure programmes run smoothly throughout the year. She manages the sales team, supports schools with tailored tour planning and helps maximise availability across the year, while monitoring customer feedback to continually enhance the experience for students and teachers.
Louise also oversees Voyager's tour co-ordination team, ensuring every itinerary is carefully checked before departure to identify and resolve potential issues long before groups travel. During busy periods, she continues to co-ordinate tours herself, giving her valuable first-hand insight into the practical requirements of organising successful educational visits.
A key part of Louise's role is leading health and safety across every Voyager trip. She oversees the auditing of accommodation, transport providers, agents and excursions in line with the rigorous standards set by the School Travel Forum and the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge. She also provides reassurance and expert guidance to teachers, Educational Visits Co-ordinators and senior leadership teams, helping them feel confident that every aspect of their trip has been carefully planned and assessed.
