As we settle into the new year, we’ve taken a look back at what our teachers thought about their school trips with Voyager School Travel in the Autumn term. We gather feedback following each trip and here is what teachers said about their trips last term...
Learning objectives are well met with Voyager trips
As specialists in language immersion, we strive to provide truly educational and authentic experiences to support students’ learning and progression beyond the classroom. Of the teachers who provided feedback about their Autumn trip, 94% felt that their learning objectives were well met during the trip:
“The children really improved through the week, and this was noticeable after we got back to school in how they were responding in the classroom.”

“There were Spanish lessons nearly every day and the workbook is a great addition to the trips”

Teachers felt that the areas where their students made the most progress were confidence, understanding and pronunciation – each with an average rating of more than 4 out of 5.
“I've taken KS3 trips before to Northern France but never have my students been so effectively immersed in the language. I can say with confidence that they have improved in all areas."

Our overseas teams are highly valued
Vital to the success of our unique immersive programmes are our local teams of native instructors at our centres in France, and with our partners in Spain and Germany.
We have always received positive feedback about our language learning teams and those who travelled last term continue to offer praise for how they ‘engaged brilliantly’ and how well they ‘got the language level and speed just right’. This interaction is considered by teachers to be a valuable aspect of our language trips:
“Your animateurs know both how to pitch the language at a level accessible to the age group and to build it up over the stay”

“The monitoras made the whole experience for all the members of the group. They were ready for anything and very keen to be supportive to the staff and pupils.”

94% of teachers are planning to rebook a trip with us
Proving that autumn is a great term for a school visit, teachers on trips with us between September and December were very happy with an average rating of 4.52 out of 5 given for overall satisfaction.
Across all of the trips taken, 94% of teachers who led the groups are looking to rebook the same or another trip with Voyager and the same number would happily recommend Voyager School Travel to a colleague.
“This trip is a well-established one for us and is always a big success with students. Excellent support from Voyager makes it straightforward to organise. The staff / animateur/rice at the centre are always so supportive and helpful. The language learning is perfectly pitched. The range of visits works extremely well for us. Thank you. We have had lots of positive feedback from students and parents already.”
