In response to feedback from this year's Business Studies teachers - suggesting more industry insight into finance - we are excited to announce the newest addition to our speaker team for the Business Studies Convention at Disneyland® Paris in January 2026.  Lyle Ammon has many years' experience in finance and is here to share his expertise with students.

Head of Commercial Finance, Birchstone Markets

Lyle Ammon is a senior finance professional with over 15 years of experience helping businesses manage their money and grow sustainably. Lyle is currently the Head of Commercial Finance at Birchstone Markets, where he works with companies to design practical financial solutions.

Lyle’s background includes roles at major financial institutions like ABN AMRO and Investec, and he holds a professional qualification from UK Finance (formerly the Asset Based Finance Association). His expertise lies in helping businesses improve their cash flow and access the funding they need to invest, expand, and succeed.

In his talk, Lyle will explain how finance plays a vital role in supporting day-to-day operations and long-term business strategies. He will break down complex financial tools into clear, understandable concepts, using real-life examples to show how businesses manage risk, access capital, and plan for growth
