“We take 8,500 students and performers to Disneyland Paris each year and are always eager for news from the parks,” said David. “This year’s announcement is especially exciting, and we were delighted to be invited to discover more about these enchanting new worlds.”
David shared this unique experience: “We were led behind the scenes to wander the new Adventure Way – the boulevard leading through the new Disney Adventure World. The first thing I noticed was the impressive North Mountain, crowned by Elsa’s Ice Palace, glowing in the distance.
Anticipation in the crowd mounted as we circled the huge new Adventure Lake into the Kingdom of Arendelle. The sky then lit up with a fabulous drone light show to launch the opening date of the new World of Frozen – March 2026.
The next morning, we were allowed back behind the hoardings to explore the new expansion in the daylight. New restaurants and boutiques are still being fitted out but the attention to detail in the elements of Nordic-inspired design and architecture is already impressive, with traditional Norwegian folk art.”
What school groups can look forward to at Disneyland Paris in 2026
Even if you have brought a school group to Disney many times before, there's plenty of new attractions on the horizon.
Starting with the key part of the transformation - Disney Adventure World - the reimagined second park at Disneyland Paris, where visitors will journey into the universes of MARVEL, Pixar and Frozen from March 2026.
In the brand-new World of Frozen, students will enjoy new attractions, boutiques and shows throughout the day, including a spectacular new night-time show featuring lights, music and water drones that have been specially designed by Disney's Imagineers.
At the big reveal, Natacha Rafalski, President of Disneyland Paris, said: “With this step, we’re pursuing the most ambitious transformation in our resort’s history, pushing the boundaries of storytelling.”
David added: “We are thrilled to offer this incredible new experience to groups travelling from March. Whether as a dedicated school trip to Disneyland Paris or an exciting day out during a learning programme in the French capital, it’s yet another fantastic reason to visit Paris.”
Still to come, a new Lion King themed world, which will double the size of the current park once complete. Watch this space for updates!
