We are thrilled to announce Media and Communications specialist, Lisa Campbell, as the first confirmed speaker at our inaugural Media Studies Student Convention at Disneyland® Paris in January 2026.
Currently on secondment from ITN to head up Creative Cities Convention 2025, the leading event for British media talent, Lisa has enjoyed an impressive career in media spanning a variety of titles and organisations and is excited to share her journey with students.
"Promoting talent in media is a passion of mine and fostering creativity and fresh perspectives is key to shaping the future of this dynamic industry.
I am delighted to be able to support the next generation of media professionals at this Media Studies convention and look forward to sharing and hearing from students."
Lisa started out as an intrepid journalist for Time Out Amsterdam and continued in a number of writing and editing roles for a range of titles including Campaign and Broadcast magazine – where she held the post of editor for 7 years. Following this, Lisa became the Festival Director for the Edinburgh Television Festival and then appointed as Director of Communications for ITN in 2020.
