Located in a beautiful valley where four towns are connected by 100km of pistes, Passo Tonale in Italy is in many ways the ideal school ski destination, thanks to its wonderful skiing and good value for money. In terms of being snow sure, Passo Tonale with its glacier, is often one of the first alpine resorts to open its slopes and one of the last to close them which means that it is perfect for school groups travelling in the Christmas or Easter holidays.
The area perfectly caters for the mixed abilities of school groups. Passo Tonale itself is ideally suited to beginners and intermediates with wide open pistes all within striking distance of the hotels. More advanced skiers can head to the reds and blacks of charming Temu and Pontedilegno or ski from the top of the Presena Glacier.

Hotel Milano
- This three-star hotel is an elegantly furnished base for your school group decorated in a mountain style. The family team that run the Milano pride themselves on their attention to detail and a focus on making sure that your group has a great stay. All rooms are ensuite
- The hotel is located in Vermiglio, a small mountain village 8 km from the skiing in Tonale. By staying outside the resort, which is 10 minutes away by bus, your school group can benefit from excellent savings.
- Your school group can enjoy the hotel’s restaurant, bar, hall and TV room. There is coach parking and free wifi included.

Hotel Piandineve
- This four star hotel is ideal for school groups and is only a five-minute walk from the centre of Tonale. We have secured 50 rooms for our school groups, most of which are three or four-bedded, all are en-suite with a TV.
- This in-resort accommodation is within easy walking distance of the slopes, within 50 m of the main telecabin and just 20 m from the chair lift. It is also about 950 m from the village centre.
- The facilities in the hotel are fantastic for school groups – as well as a large dining room there is a games room, which includes video games, plus the hotel has its own disco.
- Full board with either a picnic lunch or return to accommodation for hot lunch.
