Ski France Les Arcs

Les Arcs school ski trip, France

With English-run, chalet-style, accommodation, Les Arc is part of world-renowned ski area with glacier for all-season skiing

  • Evening entertainment

A great range of terrain for all abilities in Les Arcs

Linked with La Plagne to form the Paradiski, Les Arcs is a fantastic French ski area in its own right.

We have chosen the area for school groups because of its wealth of runs for beginners and improvers and progression to more testing pistes that intermediates and advanced skiers will enjoy. A glacier guarantees snow at all times of the season and also gives you the opportunity to ski all the way down to Villa Roger, descending over a mile in altitude along the way. There is a massive snow bowl above Arc 2000 and a vast expanse of skiing above Arc 1800 with tree-lined runs as you come back down to the old villages.

There is a link to another 220km of pistes in La Plagne, just above Vallandry, but this won’t be needed as there is plenty of skiing to keep your school group in Les Arcs for a week. (If you want to see what is on the other side, come back with us the following year and choose La Plagne!)

Les Arcs Mont Blanc Lodge Petit Mont Blanc Chalet

Mont Blanc Lodge & Petit Mont Blanc Chalet

  • This chalet-style, English-run property, serves as a great base for a small group wanting exclusive use of their own chalet. This simple accommodation, with views across to Mont Blanc in the distance, is perfect for a single school group accommodating 30 people in the main building (up to 45 using the adjacent lodge). Each room has its own shower and WC.
  • One of our best-positioned properties, the Mont Blanc is perched on the side of the slope meaning that able skiers can put their skis on and slide down to the lift less than 200m below (whilst beginners may need to walk down in the first instance). All can be dropped back at their door on the last run of the session.
  • All rooms in Petit Mont Blanc are en-suite with bathroom and WC. In the lodge, there are three ensuite rooms and two pairs of rooms, each sharing a bathroom between two. The chalet has a restaurant, recreation and relaxation area with free wi-fi included.
  • Full board with picnic lunch which can be taken at the hotel and on cold days a hot option such as soup is often thrown in.
