Isola is one of France's southern-most ski resorts. It is purpose-built and the main resort complex is several hundred metres long, with an internal walkway giving access to shops, bars, restaurants and entertainments, plus a hotel at either end.
The resort has been designed so that you can enjoy the apres-ski the resort offers without venturing outside. Wherever you leave the building the slopes are right outside. There are apartments on the upper floors, with bars and restaurants opening on to the snow-front below.
Despite being just 85km from Nice and the Med (you can even glimpse the sea on a clear day), its high-altitude position at 2000m, plus snow cannons, make for snow-sure conditions both early and late in the season. There are plenty of runs to keep most school groups happy for a week.
We can organise an evening ice skating session for your school group – the most classic of winter holiday activities.
