As a host resort in the Winter Olympics, Bardonecchia in Italy is equipped with world-class skiing facilities while offering plenty of runs for beginners and intermediates. Bardonecchia is situated in the Susa Valley, near the French border, and has one of the shortest coach journey times from the UK along with short airport transfers from Turin of about an hour. Your school group will stay in the great quality Olympic Village Hotel which we recommend for its amenities, location, easy accessibility and superb value.
Divided into two main ski areas, Colomion and Jafferau, Bardonecchia offers your group plenty of runs, especially for beginners and improvers, and snow conditions which are good throughout the season. Access to the larger Colomion area is via the Campo Smith lift which is just 250m from our school accommodation while you can reach the Jafferau ski area in less than 5 minutes via the free ski bus.
