A diverse and unique Geography hotspot
Morocco’s unique landscape will undoubtedly inspire your geography students, it is an enthralling country with an incredibly diverse landscape and a fusion of old and modern progressive influences melding together. There are few places in the world where you can experience a whole multitude of life in such close proximity to each other. School trips to Morocco are perfect for learning and observing the varied terrains and rocky geology of mountains, gorges and vast deserts to complement classroom learning.
Our Moroccan itineraries include natural wonders such as the Todra Gorge and the Valley of the Roses, examining the snowy peaks of the Atlas Mountains, the magnificent UNESCO World Heritage city of Ait Benhaddou, trekking in the Sahara Desert with the opportunity of two nights of camping out under the stars in a traditional Bedouin bivoua, the old mud houses of Ouarzazate, a visit to a Berber community and a stay in Marrakech. Marrakech is an opportunity to experience sustainability and tourism whilst exploring the ancient medina, souks, and the abundance of well-preserved UNESCO heritage sites, magnificent Mosques and beautiful Royal Palaces hidden within a labyrinth of ancient alleys.
