New & improved 'day trip to France' experience in the UK

Our popular Escape Room experience has been upgraded to include even more activities so that your whole class can enjoy a ‘day trip to France’ experience without leaving the UK.

The previous Escape Room game was conducted in a large circus tent, and praise from teachers and students aside, the setup and dismantling required more work than expected. With so many schools still eager to take part, we've improved the product to make the process simpler for schools and have packed even more language activities into the sessions—supercharging students' learning.

Instead of an in-school experience, the new Escape Room will be one element of a French immersion roadshow, which will tour central locations around the country. The idea is that a whole class or year group will travel to the venue and take part in a series of French Language immersion activities, including the Escape Room, over a whole morning or afternoon. The activities would be hosted by our animateurs from France and would be in situ for a week at each venue.

Coming to a town near you this Spring!

We plan to have the upgraded experience ready for the Spring term. To register your interest, and to make a case for us to visit your area first, please complete the form.

Our roadshow will be travelling around the UK. The first session is set to launch in the spring term and the location will be decided by demand. So if you want to be one of the first schools to experience the new & improved programme, be sure to register your interest. Why not spread the word to neighbouring schools? The power is in your hands!

Your experience will include activities which deliver on our promise to get students of all abilities practising their French language skills in fun, supportive, educational environments.

  • Escape room session
  • Initiative exercise
  • Interactive French market
  • Homeball

  • 3 hours of language immersion—morning or afternoon session
  • A trained native-speaking French animateur to lead all activities
  • Certificates and stickers for students
  • Return coach transport
  • Optional lunch add-on

The premise of this immersive French game is that the students are at the French border waiting to return home after a school trip. But there's one problem... their passports are locked in the safe. The clock is ticking and students have just 30 minutes to find the key to the safe before the ferry departs without them.

In order to escape the room students will need to work as a team, using their French language and problem-solving skills to uncover hidden clues and solve a trail of fun puzzles. Think your school is up to challenge?

Our animateur will oversee the activity, giving a briefing in French before the game commences and then offering hints and clues if required—but only if the students ask in French!

The fast-paced game is so much fun, students will not realise that they are practising their French reading, comprehension, listening and speaking skills throughout.

Thank you so much for helping us organise the Escape Room yesterday. Our students really enjoyed it (especially those who actually escaped) and we were so impressed with how everything was conducted - your animateur Juju was great with the kids, and also very efficient with the set-up and packing away etc.
