Dublin - Music Tour Specialists

Dublin is a dynamic and friendly city, always ready to welcome guests to share its loud and lively music culture - whether that's traditional Irish, or highbrow classical.

If you're looking for particularly formal venues then St. Patrick's Cathedral and Christchurch Cathedral offer exactly that, where you may perform a lunchtime recital or join in on one of the services. St. Stephen's Green, on the other hand, where Dubliners go to relax during the summer months has a bandstand, perfect for groups with any level of experience and any kind of repertoire. If you want to venture a bit further 'beyond the pale,' then we can also arrange for you to perform in a charming parish church. Those groups that really want to experience the spirit of Ireland, can take part in a Irish House Party featuring traditional Irish music, dancing and singing!

There are also plenty of excursions on offer in and around Dublin that are easy to fit in and around your perhaps busy concert schedule. Within the capital, you can visit Trinity College with the Book of Kells and the Irish Museum of Modern Art for a more educational twist, or go to Dublin Zoo and The Chocolate Warehouse for a more informal day of fun. If you would like to travel beyond the city walls then a day trip to Cork is always possibility and, a bit nearer to home, is the beautiful county town of Waterford.

Trinity College dublin

Trinity College and the Book of Kells

The Old Library and the Book of Kells Exhibition is a highlight on the Dublin tour. The Book of Kells is a C.9th Gospel manuscript world-famous for its intricate decoration. It contains the four gospels written on prepared calf-skin, known as 'vellum.' It is generally thought to have come from the scriptorium of a monastery founded in around 561AD by St. Colum Cille on the island of Iona. In 806, following a Viking raid, the Columban monks took refuge in a new monastery at Kells, County Meath. It has been on display in the Old Library at Trinity College Dublin since the mid-C.19th and attracts people from all over the world every year.

The Irish Museum of Modern Art

Irish Museum of Modern Art

The Irish Museum of Modern Art is Ireland's most prestigious authority on the collection and presentation of all modern and contemporary art in Ireland. It is housed in the Royal Hospital at Kilmainham, which is thought to be the most beautiful C.17th building in Dublin, reflecting the style of the Parisian Infirmary, Les Invalides. So, for those of you whose love of modern art sits comfortably alongside your love for music, then the IMMA is the perfect trip.

"First, and most important, the staff were absolutely fantastic. It’s very clear to us that you have a great deal of experience, and that you think carefully about each aspect of the week so that the children have the best experience possible. The kids have gone home raving about their fantastic school trip in your very capable hands." Chris Boardman, Party Leader, King Edward’s School
