Cologne, Bonn & Rhineland Music School Tour

Sing your hearts out in Germany's fairytale Rhineland, where gothic churches and romantic castles meet a rich musical history.

Discover a huge variety of inspiring destinations and places

Whatever the season, Germany's Rhineland is the perfect destination for a concert tour, with a varied selection of venues from the very formal Cologne Dom, to the laid-back cruise boats that populate the River Rhine. In summer, treat yourself to the all encompassing beauty of the region's green rolling hills, and in winter warm yourself up at welcoming Christmas markets, with a glass of Gluwein.

Visit Beethoven's birthplace

The Rhineland is not only one of Europe's most beautiful destinations, home to fairy-tale castles, cobbled streets and spectacular ecclesiastical architecture, but it was also once the home of Ludwig van Beethoven. Go to Cologne, and give a concert in the impressive Cologne Dom, where Beethoven performed in his first public concert at the age of 7 and a half. In the small town of Bonn, Beethoven's birthplace, there is the Beethoven-Haus Museum, where groups can enjoy a workshop on Beethoven's music. Another quirky addition to the tour is the Mechanical Musical Instruments Museum at Ruddesheim, where an interesting collection of instruments have a surprising history to go with them. The Rhine riverboat cruise is a brilliant way to appreciate the Rhineland landscape, and you can double-up the experience by performing for your fellow passengers, adding more drama to the picturesque scene. There are also several festivals in the area throughout the year.
