Resort / Beach Manager
Are you ready to lead the way? Managing the beach and activity operations of a Voyager Adventure resort is not for the faint hearted
What's the job?
Responsible for the overall resort operation, with specific emphasis on the beach and resort activities
Key accountabilities for this role include:
You'll spend the majority of your time on the beach ensuring the Voyager Adventure programme is delivered safely and to the high standards, our customers expect. Always vigilant, you'll need to be well organised and have one eye on the weather. The local winds are renowned for their unpredictability but the local knowledge we provide means you'll be able to ensure each group is kept active throughout their stay.
Plenty of days on the beach (in the sun) will include hard graft and a lot of expended energy. You'll finish the season fitter, stronger and wiser about activity and staff management, and group activity provision. You'll also get to entice the staff team into activity days and make the best use of where you are by getting out and active whenever possible.

Who does this role suit?
Someone with experience in the Outdoor Activity Industry who's ready to take the next step and lead their own team. You should be a seasoned instructor with management experience and preferably have worked for a variety of water-sports operators. You'll be expected to set a high standard of professionalism and show a solid work ethic, but also know when it's time to have fun. Evolution is key so we'll be looking to you to help progress both the team and the programme.
To apply you should have an RYA Senior Instructor qualification in either Sailing or Windsurfing. We will consider applicants who have the relevant experience and pre-requisites for either qualification provided it is feasible for you to have achieved the qualification before the contract start date.
