Description

We’re looking for a talented marketing all-rounder with a strong digital background to join our small but friendly marketing team. This is a busy and varied part-time role covering all aspects of marketing, but with a focus on driving sales and engagement through the digital channels. If you are a quick learner, with solid digital marketing experience, looking for a role where you can make a real difference to the business, then we’d love to hear from you!

Your main responsibilities:

  • Manage and improve SEO and PPC campaigns
  • Plan and deploy paid digital advertising such as Twitter and Google remarketing
  • Own the online customer journey, monitor and improve website conversion
  • Suggest and implement website improvements
  • Build quality website traffic and leads
  • Lead website redevelopments
  • Create and implement email campaigns
  • Develop content ideas and create engaging content
  • Report on website traffic, user engagement and other success measures on a monthly basis
  • Review results, highlight issues and make recommendations to improve marketing performance

We are a small team and so you will have the opportunity to support all manner of marketing projects which could include:

  • Filming and editing video
  • Organising events and exhibitions
  • Writing and analysing customer surveys
  • Fact-finding visits to our properties in France and other European school trip destinations

Requirements

Required skills

  • Hands-on experience setting up and managing campaigns using Google Ads
  • Comfortable using and interpreting data from Google Analytics
  • Evidence of improving the online customer experience/user journeys
  • Confident using website CMS systems
  • Working knowledge of email marketing systems such as Campaign Monitor
  • You can navigate your way around a spreadsheet
  • Able to write engaging email, blog and website copy
  • Some experience managing and working with agencies and third party suppliers
  • Experience of using design packages such as Canva is preferred but not essential
  • Experience in travel, educational or school marketing is an advantage

Salary: £20-£25k full time equivalent
