What are the objectives of the trip?
“To have fun, teambuilding and developing interaction with others. The ski trip is also designed to engender independence, as well as developing a new skill of course.”
What were the best aspects of the trip?
“Watching the students develop not only their ski skills, but also their social skills was brilliant. We mix the year groups up as ski groups are based on proficiency, not age. Students learn new, life-long skills and whilst the trip is expensive, we think it is value for money.”

What did your colleagues say about the trip?
“Those who have been before love it. However, this year there were two ‘newbies’ who found it hard work at times.”

What was the highlight of the trip?
”On the 5th day we had glorious sunshine and everyone (including the beginners) made it to the top of the mountain.”
What about the accommodation?
“It was our first time to the hotel and the Hechenmoos was excellent. All the rooms were en-suite, the location was good and the food was great with lots of it. The hotel staff were amazing and really helpful, plus it had meeting areas and a bar for students to buy drinks and snacks.”

- Alpe 2500 in the Pyrenees, staying at the Hotel Fontanals Golf. “Everyone had a great time and our rep (Hannah) was excellent.”
