Nestled on the French side of the Pyrenees and sheltered by the Alberes Mountains, Argelès-sur-Mer is a stunning adventure destination for UK schools.
The town itself ideally fits our specification of being large enough to keep your students entertained, but small enough for you to keep control. Free time attractions include markets, fun fair, bustling shopping areas, and plenty of cafes. For more information visit www.argeles-sur-mer.com.
At Argelès we offer a comprehensive water sports programme in a safe environment, delivered by our team of fully qualified Voyager instructors. Our team also deliver a full programme of evening entertainments, keeping your students occupied from dawn to dusk.
Our watersports programme includes sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, raft-building and snorkelling, plus a Pyrenees river descent involving a White Water Rafting descent and one Hydrospeeding descent! Our half day sessions ensure your students get more than a taster.

Ross Allen, Party Leader at Aberdeen Grammar School explains why the school is back with our Adventure team in Argelès-sur-Mer for the 7th year in succession.
'Our yearly trip to Argelès with Voyager Adventure is by far the most popular school trip in school, with students and teachers alike.'
'The product gets better and better every year, the staff are excellent, everybody is safe and the students always have a great time.'
Thanks to its great location, Argelès also boasts a superb selection of local excursions, including the Dalí museum in Figueres and all the attractions of Barcelona, plus adrenalin led excursions such as the man-made canyoning park and tree-tops activity park in Argelès itself, plus a number of local water parks.
Voyager offers a choice of accommodation in Argelès, to suit different budgets and requirements. We have two school villages in the Taxo Les Pins caravan park which has a variety of on-site facilities including swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts, football pitches, restaurant and shop. We also offer accommodation in well appointed 2 star hotels and local aparthotels.
Finally, because of its excellent links to the continental motorway system, Calais is only 17 hours away and for those who prefer to fly, Argelès is particularly well served by low cost airlines flying into Gerona, Perpignan, Carcassonne, Montpellier and Barcelona.

We run a full programme of evening activities that we are very proud of. Every year our evening ents programme evolves with fresh ideas from the team and the introduction of whatever new exciting activities we can find in the world of adventure.
One of the most recent additions to the evening programme has been slacklining. Our operations manager stumbled upon the sport of slacklining a year ago when visiting friends in the Ardèche and after a few goes he was hooked. As soon as he got back to the UK he found a supplier, did a risk assessment, and started writing the Ops procedure. Needless to say we now have slacklines in all our adventure centres and its going down a storm with all our groups.
Other activities include:
We also have a host of Sports Tournaments and Pool Games, a long with a huge variety of entertainments provided by the French campsite team.
We have been based here for 5 years and have built a fantastic relationship with the campsite owners and seasonal staff. The campsite was established back in 1963 by Robert and Marcelle Vaquer and has remained a family run business ever since. 2013 saw the campsite receive its fourth star having enjoyed continual reinvestment to improve the site and its facilities. We have staff on-site daily in reception.

I just wanted to email you to say a big thank you for all your work on Salesian College's recent trip to Paris. All the arrangements went very smoothly, and the boys had a great time. The centre is lovely - we especially liked the rooms and the food! We would love to come back next year.
